Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser

Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser

The Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser is unique in that it is the only hybrid fractional laser on the market today. This skin rejuvenation treatment harnesses the power of two different laser wavelengths to simultaneously target multiple layers of your skin. While other lasers only treat the skin’s surface, the Halo™ Hybrid Laser targets both the epidermis (top layer of skin) and the dermis (bottom layer of skin). With this specialized laser technology, patients can achieve radiant, youthful skin with a shorter recovery time and fewer treatments than other lasers.

Is Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment Right For Me?

Patients looking to correct sun damage, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and other complexion issues are excellent candidates for Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser treatments. It is important to know that sun damage is not always visible on your outermost layer of skin (the epidermis). It can take years for sun damage to manifest in pigmentation and dark spots on the surface of your skin. With the Halo™ Hybrid procedure, you not only treat the visible flaws in your skin, but the laser also works to correct the damage that you cannot see yet.

The Procedure

Treatment with the Halo™ Hybrid Laser is not painful. With an integrated cooling system and constant temperature monitoring, this procedure ensures that your skin is kept safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. From start to finish, the procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on which area of the body is being treated.

As mentioned above, the Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Laser uses dual laser technology to treat both the outer most layer of skin (the epidermis), to reduce hyperpigmentation, as well as targeting the bottom most layer of skin (the dermis), to treat sun damage.

Results will depend on the nature of your treatments and how many you choose to have. Patients can opt for one to two aggressive treatments for faster results, or instead choose to have multiple gentle treatments. The latter option minimizes recovery time.

The recovery period following a Halo™ Hybrid Laser treatment is quick and efficient. You can expect to see your skin peel after a couple of days, but you can still wear makeup. The degree of peeling will largely depend on how aggressive a treatment you opt for. Also, while we encourage the use of sunscreen daily, it’s especially important that you protect your skin for the first 24 hours after the procedure.

Most patients see improvement in their skin within two to five days after the initial treatment. Ideal results are achieved within two months, after the skin has achieved peak regeneration. Skin discoloration will be improved in as little as two to three weeks.

Your Halo™ Hybrid Laser results can last for several years; however, you can continue to improve and preserve your complexion with follow-up fractional laser treatments.
